wise to underestimate the fanatical religiosity of the Left. It’s NOT just a difference of opinion. Everything for them is a Manichean duality, and thus the genesis of the almost universally rigid Lefty thought patten. You either agree with them or you are a heretic, and must be (at least metaphorically) burned at the stake.

And it shows the willingness of the Left to attack anything that doesn’t hold with their rigid, neo-religious beliefs. They are spittle-lipped Spanish Inquisition types, plain and simple.
