“Mid-Term Meltdown”

31 Aug

Yeah, that’s pretty much it. And it’s so richly deserved!

Folks, the democrats have plainly and obviously shown that they can’t govern. They haven’t even done a budget for next year! If they were in a business they would be fired for incompetence. Obama is totally incompetent, and has failed to lead. I hope Americans have learned their lesson and that they vote this nincompoop out. Somewhere Jimmy Carter is happy that he’s no longer the most incompetent president in living memory. Obama will join a select group of one-termers.

I strongly suspect that Obama will get a serious challenge from the democrats come next July. It may be Hillary Clinton who does it. I can’t wait!

The democrats started losing

31 Aug

when they passed Obamacare. The article talks about how the democrats want to blame the sour economy for their problems, but they are ignoring (deliberately, I might add) the real anger about Obamacare.

And let’s not kid ourselves–Obamacare is a BIG reason that the economy is doing so poorly. Employers have no idea what will happen and they are hedging their bets, storing up cash, and refusing to hire. People are saving more and spending less. As I have repeatedly said here, NOW is the time to be frugal, live in a modest home, get decent food storage, etc. Maybe in your house you can only store a week’s worth of food because of space. Do it. Buy ONE extra can of chili when you go to the store next time and put it away for a rainy day. Have a little bit of a cash reserve so you can weather setbacks rather than living hand-to-mouth. Avoid consumer debt like the plague that it is (if you want something, save up for it!). Grow a garden, small though it may be (heck it may just be a couple tomato plants). There are lots of sources for lists of what to get for food storage. You don’t need to spend a lot of money. Get sugar, salt, flour, etc. Buy what you USE and rotate it. None of that is unusual or “goofy” advice. None of it is extremist–it’s just good sense.

The Hill ranks the

most wealthy members of congress. Of course, John Kerry comes out on top. What a maroon! Basically he married a very ugly but wealthy widow to get his money. Kerry has NO sense, he is obviously disordered, and he is simply not a bright bulb (as demonstrated by his antics in the 2004 elections). I’m not sure why the democrats nominated him (or why anyone voted for him)–he is plainly a turd of a guy. Holy crap! THIS is the guy who wanted to be the president! You’ve got to be kidding! It just demonstrated amazingly poor judgment.

Basically, there were a few hardcore folks who wanted to protest Bush by voting for Kerry. Gee, talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire! To paraphrase a movie, “Badly done, badly done, indeed.”

Now Gallup is noting

31 Aug

that there is a “wave” of voter disgust that will translate to the democrats getting whipped soundly in November. Democrats are in a heap-‘o-trouble. Obama has two years to turn this around. Can he do it? I guess we’ll see. I personally hope not. Then again, I didn’t like much of the Bush spending… Of course, Bush was a piker in comparison with the Obama spending!

I know it is “trendy” right now to

30 Aug

bash Palin, call her stupid, etc. But when we look at the facts, she is indeed a force to be reckoned with. Kind of like it was once trendy to bash Bush (and underestimate him), now Palin is the scourge of the lamestream media, and it’s easy to underestimate her. But Palin is far from stupid. She helped salvage McCain (who IS stupid), and was thrown under the bus. Even before she got the VP nod, I assumed that she would be a force, and I was not surprised at all to see her get the VP ticket with lame-o McCain. He was and is a turd. Sorry, as the old saying goes, you can’t polish a turd. Heaven knows that I didn’t vote for him (nor did I vote for the numbskull Obama)–I wrote in.

But Palin is showing her political muscle right now. I don’t want her to be president (I think Romney would make a much better candidate AND president), but she sure as heck would be a darn sight better than Obama! I’d love to see a Romney/Palin ticket in 2012. THAT ticket would be hard to beat–they would destroy Obama and Biden (and good riddance, I hope the American people have learned their lesson).

You know we are in SERIOUS trouble

30 Aug

when the leader of the free world can’t figure out how to get the umbrella on the other side…

Well, the democrats will make

30 Aug

the economy worse. Comforting, eh?

As one commentator said,

30 Aug

(and I paraphrase), from the Beck rally, you can see November. Even CBS is saying 87,000, and that is likely an underestimate. Maybe a gross underestimate. But even if there are “only” 87K people there, this is a big stinkin’ deal (to paraphrase Biden). Obama should be very afraid. The democrats look like they are going to get creamed in November. And since I think it is unlikely (though not impossible) that Obama will ┬áchange, he will likely be a one-termer.
