And so it begins…

31 Mar

Now we have Obama implementing covert action in Libya. Of course, this is just the thin edge of the wedge.

Good thing he is so different from GWB, eh?

Very good financial advice.

31 Mar

It just makes sense, and it simply is a good way to live life.

But let me add a few things: live frugally, get even a small garden, and have reserve supply of food (and water if you can). A person with a 6-month reserve of all things is in good shape. The amount of average debt (not including mortgage) is simply staggering. How could one live like that?

What does the word, “rube” mean?

31 Mar

Well, look here and you’ll see a great example of a rube.

I guess it’s sad when the main joy is shadenfreude.” Still, I can’t help but saying, “I told you so, rube!”

So tell me, Jefe,

31 Mar

just what is wrong with imported oil? I mean, it’s imported for a reason, right. Could it be that it is cheaper that way? I mean, it’s not like we just want to buy “boutique” imported oil, right? No one is saying, “Yeah, but my product is made with fancy-shmancy imported oil!” Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for local production of oil. I think it is criminal the way Obama and the democrats have blocked domestic oil production. I think that we should increase domestic production for a number of reasons (besides just price, though that may fall drastically since oil is fungible).

But as of today, isn’t it cheaper to import oil? So is there a reason, as Obama says he wants to do, to reduce oil imports by a third? Would that oil production even be made up domestically? Is this just another empty Obama promise, based on his own political gain? I mean, is this just a way for Obama to drive up the price of oil? He has said that this is exactly what he wants to do!

Wait, I thought Obama said that there

31 Mar

would be no US “boots on the ground” in Libya. Huh. Is this just another lie from Obama? I mean, he’s desperate to show that he is not doing what GWB did (though he in fact is, and much worse in all respects) so the lie is not all that surprising to me. Why would anyone believe this guy? He richly deserves to lose the next election. He didn’t deserve to win the last one (though McCain was a loser from the get-go). If only the GOP had run a decent candidate rather than letting the MSM choose their man…

I can’t wait to hear what the GWB boo-birds have to say now. There are a few who hated both GWB and Obama, but not many. But will the lefty nuts who harped on GWB now start bagging on Obama? Don’t bet on it. Their opposition was always just a cover for their anti-Americanism and their Bush hatred. And it was a thin veneer, indeed.

A good question is

31 Mar

here. It asks how much trouble Obama is in regarding his upcoming elections. I think it is a very good question. Of course the MSM-ocrats will do their best to shill for him, but he just hasn’t done a very good job, and people know it. I think that most people want to like him, but they certainly don’t like his policies. That makes it very tough for Obama to make up any ground. And with the focus on fiscal responsibility, I think that no one is buying what he is selling. Things will tighten up, that’s for sure.

Huh. The new poll out

31 Mar

shows that Obama is in big trouble. One can only hope that this continues, for the good of the country. Let’s face it, if he were not black his numbers would be in the 20’s. I know that is not a popular thing to say, as it will likely draw charges of “Racism!” But that is far from the case. It is simply the truth. And if the MSM were not shilling for him he would be in the teens…

Well, that’s true.

Reid is indeed a failure. Maybe he’s a nice guy (though I doubt it) but I know a lot of nice guys who have no business in positions of leadership. Reid is an embarrassment to the human race. He offends me. Deeply.

Rubio makes some very

30 Mar

good points. The truth is, on a personal level I hope the debt limit is increased. My livelihood depends on it. But from a purely human standpoint, we need to stop this train wreck NOW! Rubio has some extremely good points, and my ultimate preference is to see the debt limit raised and real reforms made in Washington DC at the same time. Folks, we better do something now, before it’s too late. It’s painfully obvious that this train is going to crash, yet we can do something about it now.

The truth is, you know that when John Kerry

30 Mar

supports something, it is a loser. I mean, Kerry is perhaps the biggest idiot to ever be in the Senate, and he is certainly the biggest idiot to ever run for president. Who would vote for such a putz? Only someone with an irrational hatred of the other person running. I mean, this guy is a total moron and a jerk. I find nothing about him in terms of redeeming qualities. Are there any? Well, he married a very ugly but rich widow.

Oh, Kerry loves the Libya war. It’s a great reason to strongly suspect that this is a very bad idea.
