Interesting:

05 Jul

and I think it’s correct.

I just don’t see how this is a winning issue for Obama, regardless of what John Roberts said. It’s a dog that don’t hunt.

We’re starting to see this in some of the poll data coming out. The Obamaphiles are desperately trying to put lipstick on that hog, but Rasmussen has Romney ahead globally, as well. These polls are by rather lefty organizations (who have a history of skewing results) and show Obama ahead globally yet with Romney ahead in “swing” states.

Remember, the “global” numbers don’t matter at all in terms of the election. Electoral votes are taken on a state-by-state basis. You can in fact win the popular vote and lose the election. And this is the beginning of July.

We need to understand that this election is now about government intrusion into our lives, and that is exactly what motivated the Tea Party folks and led to the democrat shellacking in 2010.

Now let’s see if Romney capitalizes on this issue. I’m fairly sure he will.
