Leftism has ALWAYS meant

violence. It’s NOT an aberration, it is the defining characteristic of leftist thought. If one looks at history this is quite clear, and only the uneducated, rubes, and the fooled think otherwise. From the Jacobins to the National Socialists (NAZI) to Stalin to Pol Pot, it is the same story. And this same impulse can be easily seen in Obama and the rest of the modern-day leftists.

Here’s a quote from the article:

And it’s Rousseau’s thought — his idea that individuals should be forced to follow the “general will” — that informs all leftist thinking — including, by the way, Obama’s second inaugural address.

We need to fully understand that this isn’t a bug, it’s a feature. Let’s not be fooled.

I’ve been saying this for years, now. It stems from even a cursory understanding of political philosophy and history. I am a conservative for moral reasons, not just practical ones (as true and obvious as such practical reasons may be). As conservatives, we need to be active in making a very public and moral case. For too long, the left has called evil good and good evil. But sometimes you have to call a heart a heart and a spade a spade, even if it offends some from the previous generation.
