Who said this?

28 Feb

It’s a great quote:

We are socialists. We are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions.

OK, who said that? Eugene Debs? Joseph Stalin? Trotsky?

Adolf Hitler, 1927

Look, many of you have been fooled by teachers (who likely didn’t know better) and others that NAZI (National Socialist is the source of the acronym) ideology was somehow different than communism, that it was somehow NOT socialism. That is a ruse. NAZI-ism IS socialism! Any difference is quite minor, indeed. Time to understand the history, and your teachers often wouldn’t have known history if they stepped in it. And I’m talking about both high school and college teachers.
