Now I think that is a very bad thing. For several reasons. But I don’t think most Democrats even remotely understand how severely they are fraying the undergirding supports of modern society by assigning an exemption of “nobility” to certain favored people. Our society can tolerate someone getting off for an offense due to brilliant lawyering. But people CAN’T tolerate for long the chronic and systematic unfairness that we are currently seeing.
This is FAR bigger than just if Hillary or Hunter or Joe get punished. It actually is not really about them. Understand well that when the law is chronically unfairly and unevenly applied, people go to Don Corleone rather than to the courts. And there is no appeal…
