I guess that right now I really don’t believe that the state of NY is in play. Oh, I want it to be, all right. But that would be not just a warning sign for Democrats, but a shrieking klaxon and a red rotating flood light along with a loud voice over the loudspeakers yelling, “DEFCON 1” over and over.
It would be a HUGE blow to Democrats to have to spend precious resources in what has long been a “safe” state for them! Will it happen? I both doubt it and hope so.
