OK, so what to do

about mail-in voting. It is actually NOT a simple question. And I think there are a couple answers to it.

IF you are in a very reliably “red” state, you can afford to vote in person at the polls on election day. And for me, that is the preferred option. Yes (like most Americans), I want voter ID and real vote security–NO easily-hacked voter computers. Just paper forms that can be preserved (and”dumb” scanners with easily verifiable or no programming at all).

IF, however, you live in a place that is NOT reliably Conservative, your vote may NOT be represented at all. So what do you do?

You vote early. You “bank” that vote, let’s say, three weeks before election day. Because you KNOW there will be “unexpected” problems with votes in Conservative enclaves in Lefty areas. The machines will “accidentally” mis-tally or change the votes. You will be turned away because the voting machines are suddenly “not working.” And there will be no time to correct things. You know very well what happens…

So you vote early. You “bank” that vote. You make darn good and sure it gets there in plenty of time. You push for paper ballots that preserved. You get a receipt, where possible. Where legal, you do “vote harvesting.” You get ALL your friends to do the same.

Ideally I would like voting in person on one day. But we’re NOT going to get there by doing that right now. No, because Conservatives are over-represented in election day votes, it is easy for Lefties to cheat, to “pick them off” through “machine failures” and such.

So Leftists get put into office. And of course they are not going to further the cause of vote security! No, be sure. Bank your vote!
