But you know, when all my experience is in preaching to the already converted, I may not at all have the skills to face an adversary. THIS is a serious weakness in American Leftism–there is a very strong Lefty strategy of never arguing a position or being in a philosophically hostile environment.
The flying monkeys in the mainstream media have been coddling Harris. As our sister site Twitchy notes, Harris has yet to face an interview. That’s right, tough girl Kamala doesn’t have the guts to field a bunch of softballs from the likes of George Stephanopoulos or even Rachel Maddow.
And therefore, without lifting that “heavy weight,” Leftists become intellectually weak and flabby. So even more energy is put into name-calling and coercion and avoidance–those are the only other options they have!
Lefties, do the work! There’s no such thing as a free lunch. But Leftism itself is very brittle, and it often cannot bear the load of informed disagreement.
