Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday refused to debate former President Donald Trump September 4 on Fox News, demanding the debate take place September 10 on ABC News.
I don’t know if Kamala will debate at all, under any circumstances. It has become an almost ubiquitous strategy of ALL Democrats, great and small, not to debate issues, but to simply call names, leaving voters to decided based on non-positional issues. You know, making them buy a cat in a bag while relying on tribal identity. I very strongly suspect that this is exactly what Harris is doing, here.
And remember, this was a candidate that was so pummeled by the other Democrat primary contestants that she had to withdraw before the first vote was even cast! Even Democrats didn’t like her. And she got hammered in the debates. I really doubt she will risk a debate gain!
Like virtually all Democrats, she is desperate to hide who she really is! So she will take the time-worn Democrat path of not debating actual issues and relying solely on personal attacks.
And that has indeed worked before! Will voters again be sucked in by that particular ploy? We shall see…
