No, of course not. I strongly suspect (but don’t know for sure) that it was written and given to Joe as a fait accompli. That scenario is the “best fit” for what data we have.
So at that point Joe was faced with either saying he didn’t post the tweet and fighting the whole Democrat big wig cabal or just being a good soldier and laying back and thinking of England. Of course, he did the latter. But in either case he was simply not going to win the next election.
So he did what damage he could and endorsed Kamala Harris on the way out, even though she was a key schemer. They never thought he would do that. But he did. And that was the end of Obama’s dream of an open primary.
I strongly suspect that there will be no more “Best friends forever” bracelets with Joe and Barack!
