economic ignorance (ignorance at best) is just mind-blowing. Unreal. Who would even think this in 2024? How can she not know better?
She must think you voters are really ignorant and stupid!
But is this just a last-ditch flail for her? Maybe this is a “hail Mary.” Still, it seems we are a bit too early for such desperation moves, and the more likely explanation is that she really IS that ignorant.
IF it worked, every country everywhere would be doing it. But it just doesn’t work. Oh, and it has been tried over and over in history. Back in ancient Rome, they tried to artificially lower grain prices–it didn’t work. DUH!
BUT, it does “work” in the sense that it helps lying politicians gain and maintain power. But of course it doesn’t work economically.
