You know, I’m

pretty dang skeptical of the things Zuckerberg is recently doing. I just don’t trust him one bit.

The next few months will make things much more clear. But I’m not really all that optimistic. I am concerned that this is just a ruse. I’m not a fan of deathbed repentance. I find it generally quite unconvincing. And it seems like that is what this is.

I hope I am proven wrong. But we need to see a pattern of change for this to be at all convincing!

Just over a week after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, a Facebook senior executive openly admitted that the platform excessively censored Conservative voices.

… “We know that when enforcing our policies, our error rates are still too high, which gets in the way of the free expression that we set out to enable,” Clegg said.

Look, this is NOT about innocent error rates! Actual random error is about the same on both sides. But of course this was NOT random error. It was systematic error. To pretend that what we saw was somehow attributable to random error is just a disgusting dodge.

The problem is not random error, and it never was. No, the problem is a deliberate putting of their thumbs on the scales! It was systematic error. This is a weaselly “apology,” that’s for dang sure!

And it makes me even more skeptical…
