It’s easy to say that these people deserve it because they have voted so foolishly over the last three decades. And it is absolutely true that they have been electorally stupid. THAT is as plain as day.

But it is still a tragedy to see all the human suffering that utter mindless hackishness hath wrought. And no one deserves that. Yes, it follows like day follows night. But it is still tragic.
