You might think

that CA has “hit rock bottom” and is now amenable to change. But I think you are probably wrong.

The “Cluster B” personality traits are just too strong.

It’s not that they can’t learn. They’re not stupid in the sense that they don’t understand that the people they’re voting for are blithering idiots. It’s that human nature prevents them from accepting the fact that they’ve been wrong so that they can change. They are emotionally invested in the liberal project that they grew up in, and to vote against it now would require introspection and an admission that everything they believed in was baloney. Most of them can’t do that. Most of them won’t do that. And nothing’s going to change.

It’s NOT that they are intellectually deficient. No, no, no. But most are characterologically deficient–they simply are unable/unwilling to rigorously introspect. They (literally) cannot take the first step of change. It really kills any chance they have of making progress–they simply won’t take Step One.

THIS is why pride is the universal basic sin. It undergirds all other sins while at the same time prevents a move forward.

So is CA going to substantially change? Yeah, I doubt it.
