good a time to be a Democrat as you might hope.
Trump is dismantling much of the entrenched Lefty bureaucracy, to the wild applause of most people. The up-and-coming adult generation leans much more to the Right, notwithstanding the heavy indoctrination they had since Kindergarten.
People don’t trust the MSM, and for very good reason. So there is this undeniable rise in alternative media–even in White House press briefings! And people like me can have voice without MSM approval.
The result? The Left is staggering a bit.
But the pain didn’t stop in November. This week has produced fresh evidence of just how far the party has fallen. A new Quinnipiac poll has found that the Democrats’ favourability rating among the public sits at 31%, its lowest point since the firm began tracking that question back in 2008.
… Additionally, as the Democratic base has shifted from being more moderate and working-class to being better-educated, wealthier, and more liberal, it has trended away from the median American voter. A post-election study from the group Third Way found that voters placed themselves slightly Right-of-centre on an ideological scale, closer to Trump than to Harris. This perfectly captures the party’s predicament: its base is moving further Leftward, even as the country remains steadfastly centre-right. [emphasis added]
