clear to me that this isn’t just more “lawfare” by a panicked Left. My problem is that I know that in Trump’s case, corrupt judges have maliciously tried to prevent him from running and/or fatally (politically) discredit him.
So is the same thing going on here? Is this just more of the same? I mean, this is solidly within the Lefty playbook!
It certainly looks like it’s just more lawfare, but I really don’t have all the information. But what I know is that corrupt Lefty judges do this sort of thing in order to try and neutralize threats. And that is true regardless of what the facts in this case actually are.

Africa does, at some point, become counter-productive. And some African leaders of nations both realize that and are speaking up about it. As one African leader said:
“Whoever gives you aid controls your life.”

What would not surprise me at all is that once the handouts dry up, some African nations become truly great.
I lived in Haiti for several years, and I know how competent they can be. But too often they were happy to take scraps from the master’s table–they didn’t pony up themselves and just waited to be given things. And the country as a whole was turned into beggars–and one who too often stole what aid money they were given.
A less racist approach to Haiti and Africa would be to assume they are competent, and any help is targeted and short-term. Because I do assume they are competent to arrange their own business!
Truly, this is “The soft bigotry of low expectations.” And hopefully, African countries have had enough and will start standing on their own two feet!

The New York Times editorial board just discovered what conservatives have been saying for years: the Democratic Party is completely out of touch with everyday Americans.
It’s a stunning rebuke from a paper that typically carries the water for Dems. The Times finally admitted the obvious: Democrats’ obsession with identity politics and their “scolding, censorious posture” have driven voters straight into Republicans’ arms.
That is not much of a revelation for most of us. But it is a big, though incomplete, step for the New York Times. And yes, they need to change. But it won’t happen right now because they have not “hit bottom” yet. Still, some of them can kind of see that on the horizon.
Without identity politics, what do Democrats even have? Strip that away, and all that’s left is a pile of failed policies and a party with nothing to fall back on—no distractions, no scapegoats, no emotional manipulation to cover for their incompetence. It’s the only playbook they know, and without it, they’re completely exposed.
