Demanding that

we have no foreign wars is a little like demanding that we have no taxes. It kind of superficially sounds good, but it actually makes no sense at all, if you think about it.

The issue is whether it is done judiciously. And historically, Democrats (and the Democrat-adjacent RINOs) have been VERY injudicious about both things.

But the fact that Democrats and RINOs have been horrible at it doesn’t logically mean it doesn’t need to be done at all. Just elect people who are not total dummkopfs about such things! That would exclude about 95% of Democrats and 99% of RINOs…
