You know, at some point things just become intolerable and must change. And we are seeing the first, furtive shoots of that in Germany. There are cracks in the dam, and the integrity of the whole structure is in question.
The German government has begun the process of lifting the protection status for some Syrian refugees with the aim of returning them to their homeland now that the civil war has ended.
Baby steps. It will happen: slowly at first, then suddenly…
