ploy of the Left is to say that Trump will go for amnesty.
But it is NOT true.
So why is this such a potentially effective Lefty ploy? There are a couple of reasons.
First, it demoralizes the Trump crowd. To see him cave to the lefty scumbags would be nothing but discouraging and a stake in the heart of their cause (it would also stain Vance and effectively cripple him for good). And the Left traffics in discouragement–it is the coin of their realm. And Conservatives are rightfully wary about being shafted by supposed allies. It has happened over and over and over.
The second reason is very much related to the first. Trump made immigration a central component of his campaigns, and to a large extent won because of it. If he caves on this MAJOR issue he ran on, what won’t he cave on? It effectively neuters him, which is their fondest dream. In short, Trump then simply cannot be trusted. THAT is what Lefties want Conservatives to believe.
So there is this double goal of the Left here. They want you demoralized and inert, passively accepting with a bitter sigh whatever they dole out. Lefties work in fear and distrust like other people work in acrylics or oils. But don’t YOU let the bastards win!
