Lefty wokescolds have been the death of comedy! Pretty much ALL humor involves some slaying of sacred cows, to one extent or another.
Monty Python was pretty extreme in that way–see The Life Of Brian or The Meaning Of Life. Both films severely, blasphemously, and often quite crudely mocked the beliefs of others. But it was almost always clever and funny. Notice the “Loretta” scene is The Life Of Brian. You KNOW it wouldn’t be done today!
Lefties simply cannot tolerate mocking, especially clever mocking. There IS no humor in Leftism, comrade!
Which is why the famous German lack of humor quickly led them to a hard Hitlerian Leftism. No, there was nothing funny about that (and if you thought there was, the Gestapo would soon be knocking on your door). Well, Mel Brooks aside, though that was in the safety of an environment where there were no NAZIs.
But, of course, no one dares mock Muslims like that now. Because when offended, Christians will sniffily turn up their noses at you and say that you are a boor. Muslims, on the other hand, will hunt you down, rape and disfigure your daughters while you watch, and then brutally kill you. And they will hunt you for decades if need be (see: Salmon Rushdie).
Kind of a difference, eh? No wonder comedians are so loathe to crack jokes about them! Monty Python was quite safe mocking Christians. But how is it that no one mocks Muslims? Why do you never hear Rock the Casbah anymore? DUH!
