Remember when

Lefties were shrinking in faux outrage about Trump’s tariffs? Yeah, not so much anymore.

Of course, the reason for that is that they actually worked. Contrary to all the nattering idiots on the Left, they worked. But instead of having the good grace to admit, they just are quiet. They are now just avoidant. The next outrage will come around for them. It always does.

It happens all the time. I mean, remember when lefties were shrinking about “net neutrality?” Well, that turned out to be a steaming pile of crap, and now you never heard them talk about that. If you bring it up, they get very interested in their shoes, and say, “Hey, there’s a squirrel!” Whenever they’re wrong, they just refuse to talk about it. It’s the Lefty way.

And we are seeing the exact same thing now with tariffs. No admission of error, and certainly no apology. Just silence. Just pretend that those things never happened…

It’s maddening, to be honest. I think they should just ‘fess up to the problems that they have, intellectually. Of course, they are not about intellect, they are simply about power.

Again, I was out of my depth about the whole tariff thing, but 14 weeks seems like a pretty quick turnaround time for the pain to start going away. The people who were the loudest about doubting Trump back in April are probably even more surprised than I am. I can’t be sure, because they’re not talking much about tariffs anymore. [emphasis added]
