Unlike the total moron we just had as president, Trump is really in his element in negotiating deals. And the great thing is that the Europeans are quite happy with the deal, as well. So it’s not like he just worked them over and cheated them and ran. No, he worked a deal that they were both happy with. Yes, he had a pretty good idea of what they would accept and what they wouldn’t. But the deal was not exploitative.
And THAT is the mark of a master negotiator! There is no “buyers remorse” for either side. They both “won.” THIS is what competence looks like! I hope you’re taking notes, Democrats.
