waves of Leftugees. The first wave is made up of people who are at heart conservative, and want to flee the crappy Leftist government in their state. They tried and tried to make it work, but it was of no use. They are, at heart, conservative. And they are rather ahead of the curve in terms of fleeing their horrible “blue” area.
But there is another wave. This wave is fundamentally different from the first. At heart, they are still Leftists, even though they had to move. It is just that the area they fled became so Leftist due to their foolish voting patterns that it became unlivable. THEY move because they have soiled their nest–it became a stinking crap-hole.
This is the group that is a contaminant to more conservative places. And this is the reason that many of the original Leftugees really don’t want them. Because they are not fleeing because of an increased understanding of Lefty political philosophy, they are merely leaving because of economic hardship and don’t understand at all that their economic hardship is closely tied to the way they have voted. BIG difference!
