New Deal? Uh, never mind. Move along–nothing to see here!
The immediate question is why Democrats have suddenly shut up about the progressive wing’s most treasured agenda set. The Green New Deal was their entrée to true redistributionism, not to mention a more-or-less nationalized energy industry. The GND was to industry what ObamaCare was to healthcare for progressives — an opening by which to seize the means of production via regulatory capture.
HINT: It is terrible economics and at best are indifferent about it if they don’t hate it outright.
The gig is up and the grift is over. Lee Zeldin wants to ensure that with his effort to overturn the 2009 endangerment finding at the EPA that enabled the Green New Deal grift. That truly needs to be the highest priority of the EPA and DoJ, apart from the Russiagate probes, given its ability to give the grifters the control they seek. Democrats don’t want to talk about it, but we should speak loudly and consistently to defeat their agenda for good.
