whole lot smarter than I am, and he is MUCH better connected. He has also shown himself over and over to be wise.
That said, I have a hard time being as optimistic as VDH is, here. Certainly, he gives very good reasons for his predictions. I mean, unassailable ones.
And yet… years of seeing bad things from the Democrats, things that were unimaginable in the late 1980s, make me skeptical and skittish.
