seen and experienced how good for the country a competent more conservative President is, why would anyone vote Democrat ever again? Why on earth would you go back?
Yet some do, and it is rather incomprehensible in all but a few ways:
- The person who is intra-psychically bound to the Democrats. Often this is rooted in family dynamics along with a pervasive “smarter than your average bear” defensive character process.
- A “religious conversion” that inducts them to the Lefty cult. And those who are attracted to that adhere to the cult’s ideas with religious intensity.
- A pollyanna-ish, wide-eyed gullibility.
- Frank sociopathy.
And most often it is some sort of combination of those factors. But the FACT remains that people go there. And they go back, over and over and over.
The dog returns to its vomit;
The sow returns to her mire;
And the burnt fool’s bandaged finger
Goes wobbling back to the fire.
