In a New York Times op-ed titled “Democrats Will Lose in 2028 Unless They Change Course Now,” Plouffe warns that the party’s long-term future looks bleak. He says the electoral map itself is shifting out from under their feet—and unless Democrats overhaul everything, they’re heading for years of political pain.
Plouffe writes, “Right now, Democrats have no credible path to sustained control of the Senate and the White House. After the adjustments to the Electoral College map that look likely to come with the next census, the Democratic presidential nominee could win all states won by Kamala Harris, plus the blue wall of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and still fall short of the 270 electoral votes needed to win. An already unforgiving map gets more so, equally so in the Senate.”
Well, Plouffe knows the lay of the land. Get ready to hear Democrats tell us that the census is… RACIST. It’s their go-to explanation for anything they don’t like!
… The one thing Plouffe doesn’t mention is the most obvious fix of all—stop alienating the middle. Average voters are exhausted by the constant extremism, the identity politics, and the ideological purity tests. Yet, appealing to moderates is the one thing today’s Democratic Party refuses to do.
So I dearly hope Plouffe is right, here. And that Democrats do just as he advises!

OK, so what is it? She came into congress basically penniless. She now has over $30 million. It kinda makes you wonder… 🤨 Well, we KNOW it wasn’t just her congressional salary! House salary is $174,000 per year. So again, just how did it happen?
One obvious question, of course, is whether some of the $10 billion or more believed to have been stolen from taxpayers in Minnesota found its way into the pockets of Omar and her husband. There is no doubt that she was connected to Feeding Our Future fraudsters in multiple ways. So far, we have no information as to how she may have related to the other, even larger, frauds that are now coming to light.
Yeah, we really don’t know. Yet. But you have to admit that it looks incredibly fishy! It is very clear that what has happened is not normal business.
You don’t get $30 million on a congressional salary unless you are seriously crooked. It seems to me that it’s pretty obvious this is ill-gotten gain. The exact details are not yet known.
