scammers and charlatans even among scientists. And that is to be expected–that’s what a subset of people in ALL organizations do. And sometimes they gain political power to push their nonsense. And it IS nonsense, whether they have a religiously intense attachment to it or not.
Just because a person is a scientist doesn’t mean that he or she is telling the truth or is not on the take or is not completely fooled! Let’s not be naïve, here…
