that’s really not much different than what virtually all Democrats do in elections. They pretend to be far more conservative than they really are. This Canada just took it into a new, higher level. But in essence, it is no different than what virtually all Democrats do. They VERY often pretend to be something they’re not.
Sure, this is pretty extreme. But actually, it’s no different in kind than what Democrats do all the time. It is more extreme, sure, but it is not different in kind. Because Democrats often have to lie and hide and deceive about who they really are in order to get elected.
If they told the truth, most people would rear like a shying stallion at what they are hearing. So the Democrat strategy is to stay quiet as much as they can until they get elected. Then they can unleash their inner Leftist. And that is times 10 for RINOs.
