most places is to outwardly pretend (every election season) that you are something other than what you really are. An imposter, if you will. And I think it IS psychologically damaging to live such a duplicitous life.
Which is why Democrats attract so many sociopaths. They really don’t have a worry about breaking the rules or pretending to be something they are not. Regular people would be irritated and even upset and eventually fed up doing that. A true sociopath doesn’t care one little bit. And that’s what we have so many obvious sociopaths like Gavin Newsom and Joe Biden and Karen Bass.
