I like some of what Fetterman says and does. But he is an old-school Democrat who has a lot of older Democrat ideas. He is a 1990s liberal Democrat. And today’s Democrats simply can’t tolerate that–they have moved FAR beyond that!
They LOVE a “maverick,” except, of course, when it is their sacred cow getting gored… Actually, they just love a Republican turncoat! And they certainly don’t love John Fetterman. No, the Democrats will never run him again for any office!
Fetterman is a hard Lefty. OF COURSE he is! But he is also willing to stand up for what seems right to him, regardless of the Democrat Nabobs. Old-school. THAT kind of independence sure does not win many Democrat leadership friends today!
