The truth is, Biden was really torqued about being kicked to the curb so he hosed over the Democrats on his way out by immediately getting behind Harris. He absolutely knew that she was a total mess, which is why he endorsed her so quickly–within hours. And THAT meant that the deal was sealed and there would be no contest on the Democrat side.
