“Shocking?”

Uh, no.

A new civil

war would NOT be Leftists against Conservatives. There just would be no need to go to that effort!

Really, really

lame. You’d think that a performer could read a crowd better.

What truly gets me about Armtrong’s lyric change, though, is how safe it is. Musicians that were writing anti-draft songs in the ’60s and ’70s actually faced the draft. The only thing Green Day faces is increasing irrelevance. Nothing is edgy about taking a shot at “MAGA” in 2023. On the contrary, it’s the most boilerplate thing a public figure can do.

See: Old punk rocker sell-outs and loser pretenders…

EVs are

ultimately unaffordable. As a result, they will fail.

Electric cars are very “torquey” and fun to drive. But they are a toy of the fabulously rich. They may work in very specific situations, but really they are just a “niche” product.

Unfortunately for Hsu, it turned out that the battery protector cover on his car’s undercarriage was warped, a problem that could in certain instances cause the battery to explode. This meant that he would have to replace his car’s battery pack in addition to fixing its structural damage. Hsu says he was shocked when the estimate to replace the battery came in at $61,000 Canadian, or about $46,000 in US dollars. That’s almost $6,000 more than he paid for the car when he purchased it brand new.

Even worse, because the damage was caused by an accident, the bill was not covered by the car’s warranty, leaving Hsu with the alternative of filing a claim with his insurance carrier. But the resulting insurance implications were enormous, with Mr. Hsu facing a rate increase of up to 50% if he filed the claim. His only other choice would be to foot the repair bill himself and now have over $87,000 US dollars invested in a $41,000 car.

This is insane. This is not sustainable. The EV industry simply cannot have stories like this one popping up with increasing frequency and hope to sustain growing demand for its products.

But wait, that’s not all! There are other issues:

  • range anxiety that pops up any time the weather isn’t perfect;
  • the lack of charging infrastructure;
  • the unreliability of the infrastructure that does exist;
  • the non-recyclability of the battery materials;
  • the increasing restrictions on charging due to the massive load EVs place on the grid;

So yeah, let’s just say that there are issues. Let me say again that I think these vehicles can make sense in limited situations. But not generally as a replacement for a car with an ICE.

Well,

Portland. This is what you get when you vote Democrat!

Captain Obvious Satire

Yes, but is

it satire or not? I mean, it’s awfully close to “straight news!”

“I know we have all the normal rigging techniques available to us, but we’re worried that Trump’s lead could grow so much that those efforts will fail to protect our democracy as they did in 2020,” said Justice Richard Gabriel. “Rest assured, we will not rest until we save democracy by making it completely illegal to vote for Trump. You’re welcome, America!”

Pollsters confirmed that even with classic rigging measures like hackable voting machines, unmonitored drop-boxes, illegal immigrants, ballot harvesting, and universal mail-in voting, it may still not be enough to stop Trump from being reelected. Experts are urging unelected Judges to put additional measures in place.

Democracy dies… in Democrat hands!

Border security

isn’t important! Is it?

December is not quite over, and as Catherine noted earlier today, 250,000 illegal aliens have crossed the border this month — more than the number of people who stormed the beaches on D-Day.

I’m 99 percent certain that at least a little bit of this is [the] Chinese military infiltrating for reasons harmful to our national security. Is it one person, is it a hundred, is it a thousand—we don’t know, but the fact that we have to ask this question is just outrageous. Clearly, that border is a big opportunity. Some of those people want to come here and have a better way of life, but I think some of those Chinese [nationals] quite possibly are here to spy and report back at a minimum.

Yes, Biden’s

slide continues.

Trump was two points behind Biden in June but was one point ahead of Biden in September and October. Now Trump sports a four-point lead over Biden.

And the truth is that there are a whole lot of “shy” Trump voters, so this is likely an under-estimate of Trump’s true numbers!

So Democrats resort to blatant election interference with the sham trials.

And as those trials go on, and on, and on, even the most jaded independent voter is likely to wake up to the political agenda behind them, and vote for Trump out of disgust for the Democrats and their malevolent maneuvers to rid themselves of their mortal enemy, Donald Trump.

Oh PU-LEEZ!

run, Manchin! I know he thinks he could beat Trump. But there is just no question that Manchin running would DESTROY Biden!

Fact check:

True.

Again, there’s are obvious reasons for this political snipe hunt: Because Trump is entirely likely to win the 2024 elections in a landslide and then he will be a bulldog in trying to eradicate the corrupt deep state.

And it gives deep staters the Hershey squirts to think about what would happen (see: Javier Milei in Argentina)
