Captain Obvious Common sense

Wow! That is

good news! Spanberger’s blatant effort to turn Virginia into Massachusetts has failed. Now the Virginia Supreme Court has passed a ruling. And it is not good for Spanberger.

You knew it was too bogus to last, and now you’ve been vindicated. The Virginia Supreme Court just rejected the state’s power-crazed Democrats’ gerrymander scam. The only surprise is that the decision wasn’t unanimous; rather, the ruling was 4-3 — still good enough to restore the district lines put in place after the 2020 census.

It should’ve been a no-brainer to toss the tyrannical leftist scheme to disenfranchise Republican voters’ voices, à la New England.

The fact three judges voted for something that is very obviously unconstitutional and did not follow the required path, is more than little discouraging and disturbing. I honestly don’t understand by what reasoning they could vote against it. This is a clear example of partisanship overriding good sense!

Ossoff certainly won’t

bite the hand that feeds him! I really hope GA voters get rid of this bum.

Yeah, maybe…

Look, there are good people to elect. We don’t need to settle! And many of the “Republican” Senate members have very little credibility left. They lost pretty much all credibility when they refused to pass the SAVE America act.

There are good people to be Senators. We need to elect people who will not be corrupt and who will actually do the will of the people.

Hey, THAT

is a pretty big deal!

My first thought is that also has impact of things like software agreements. I don’t know if that is the case, but it seems fairly similar. Either you own a certain piece of equipment, or you don’t.

But in any case, farmers have got to be very happy about this. Most farmers that I know (and I come from a farming background) are very proficient at repairing their own equipment.

The settlement also includes an agreement by Deere to provide “the digital tools required for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair” of tractors, combines, and other machinery for 10 years. That part is crucial, as farmers previously resorted to hacking their own equipment’s software just to get it up and running again.

Even in Europe,

people hate illegal immigration. And EU bigwigs just can’t cope!

I heard someone recently (and I can’t remember who it was) say, “illegal immigrants are like windmills. Every right–thinking person says they want them, but no one wants them anywhere near them.”

Yeah, pretty much. Like we saw at Martha’s Vineyard. Just like that!

The other burning issue in Europe has been the inflow of millions of foreigners, accepting the bulk of whom has been forced on member states by the EU, with return rules denied and border security plans stymied by threats of funding cuts, even as the very national character of individual European countries began to erode under the burden of the incoming human tsunami.

Wow! I simply

could not be happier! Or more relieved…

I’m relieved that there were enough people of decent moral character to get this far. But it’s not enough.

But it’s not over? Huh? Maybe curb my enthusiasm…

Democrats are still likely to attempt to kill the legislation before it passes, as their political strategy for the future seems to depend upon election fraud.

More soon…

MORE: It appears that the bill has NOT passed, it just has moved to the next stage where Senators will publicly debate it. I do think that is huge, and the public shaming is a real issue, but we are not at the end of the story. I think the bill still faces a big battle to become law. And the morality of many of the Senators does not give me a lot of confidence…

That said, this is a very good thing. There’s a good deal of pressure on those who would vote against it, both from president Trump and from regular people. This also means that Senators are going to have to justify just why they are on the side that they are on. Again, that is not a comfortable position for the nay-sayers.

Democrats are fighting a battle to preserve voter fraud. And a lot of people do not like that. Like, well over 80% don’t.

So unfortunately, the final chapter of the saga has not yet been written. Yes, it is a very nice step forward. But it’s not the end.

Choosing Common sense Epic fail

Let’s just say

that bad news for Democrats is good news for regular people!

Democrats have waged an all-out war on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since Trump came back to office. “Abolish ICE” became a rallying cry on the far left. ICE agents were portrayed as villains in campaign ads, Hollywood storylines, and cable news monologues. The narrative was simple: if voters just saw what ICE was doing, they’d turn on the agency and, by extension, on Trump and Republicans.

Instead, the NBC poll shows ICE with a net favorability of -18. That’s still higher than the Democratic Party’s -22. Let that sink in for a moment: after all the hostile coverage, demonization, and organized campaigns to make ICE toxic, the agency is still more popular than the Democratic Party. That has to sting.

And remember, this is after Democrats have “flooded the zone” with wall-to-wall negative coverage of ICE, constant (dishonest) harping on Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Democrats have already turned the volume up to 11. It just doesn’t go to 12…

Krazy-eyed killa (KEK)

Jack Smith is humiliated yet again. And judge Cannon took a little extra time to drive home the point that KEK was NOT a legitimate or lawful Special Counsel and actually had no legal authority at all.

THAT’s what you call a butt-kicking!

Cannon had ruled in July 2024 that Smith was unconstitutionally appointed as special counsel. The Department of Justice then officially shelved the matter when Trump won the November ’24 presidential election. In light of that, she ruled, the defendants, including Trump, as well as Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, two former Mar-a-Lago employees, would suffer “irreparable damage” to their reputations. You want to increase

the probability of a happy marriage? Then go to church. It’s just science…

Being happily married is three times more likely to happen for husbands who regularly go to church with their wives and children and twice as likely for wives, according to a new analysis conducted jointly by the Institute for Family Studies (IFS) in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Wheatley Institute (WI) in Provo, Utah.

It’s no surprise, and there are issues about the directionality of causation. But the correlation is both large and robust.

Similarly, the authors reported that they “found that the benefits of religion for marriage increase even more when spouses engage in shared home-centered religious practices. Specifically, we found that married couples who consistently engage in home-centered religious practices are nearly twice as likely as their less-religious peers, and more than four times more likely than their nonreligious peers, to report feeling a high sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.”

OK, who had

Nicki Minaj as the voice of common sense on their BINGO card?

Rap superstar Nicki Minaj continues to shock fans and conservatives across the country with the sheer amount of common sense that keeps coming out of her mouth. Minaj put Democrats on blast after leftist artists at the Grammys ridiculed her during the award ceremony on Sunday evening.

… Minaj also directed pointed words at Christians who might consider casting a ballot for Democratic Party candidates in future elections, calling them “foolish.” Once again, she nailed it. Democrats have made it crystal clear that they are anti-Christian to the core.

… Minaj, much like the president, does not sit back on her haunches when critics unfairly target and attack her. Much to the chagrin of the left, she punches back — hard. The rapper tore into Noah, referring to him as a closeted gay man and saying, “Trevor refuses to come out the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend. Allegedly.”
