So why the attack
on the family?
I know this is it going to be a bit long, and I’m sorry. But this is pretty dang important.
There is a reason the Left always goes after families. There is a reason why the licentiousness of the Left is aimed directly at traditional morality and traditional family.
That is certainly no accident. Let me explain:
When you grow up in a family, you quickly experience your siblings’ and parents’ successes and failures as your own. And it moves outward from there. You are also part of a broader extended family, a “tribe” and a congregation. Eventually, you go outward enough that you are part of a country. You feel joy and pride when they succeed in something like, say, the Olympics—even though you don’t know the person at all.
But really, you cannot feel that unless it was initially tied directly to your feelings of loyalty to your parents and family. You don’t feel this loyalty to a stranger you see on the street. You may like that person, and you might even have a general goodwill toward them. But you’re not loyal in the same way at all. They are a total stranger.
We build on this family loyalty by being proud of our town. We also are proud of our ethnic background, our congregation, and our culture. At the top of that scale is being proud of our nation (which is quite different than our government).
But understand well that none of this can happen without the prior attachment to family. In that context, we can understand very well why the Left has attacked family and traditional morality so heavily.
See, people go crazy as separate atoms, but they only get better in congregations and families.
The Left propose an atomistic view of personhood. So they attack family and history. You are not good, and your country is based in ignominious and and disgusting things (1619 Project).
Therefore, the attack from the Left has to be first and foremost on the family. Because without those family bonds first, there is no loyalty to clan, to congregation, or to country.
Please note that that attack is often based in licentiousness. Why? Because such an attack destroys the fundamental building block of society most effectively by destroying family.

The truth is,
a moral stance CAN win. The Bud Light crash-and-burn has shown that. Can.
I mean, who wants to be seen holding a Bud Light now? It has become an embarrassment–something beer-drinkers would avoid like the plague.
And it the revolt is NOT “astro-turfed.” It is an organic uprising among beer-drinkers. The culture has changed. The Mulvaney crap was not merely a “bad advertising move,” it was a culture-shifting earthquake.
It’s just one beer can, the media whines. If it is so unimportant, why did the left rally behind it? Conservatives won this round. They will win more because this boycott showed them how to win.
… When you lie like that, you eventually get trapped in your fabrications. The media saw Mister Mulvaney as a heroine in his pink dress. The public saw him as a fraud. He turned off 26% of Bud Light drinkers.
But Bud Light isn’t the only company to fall into the “woke” pit. FoxNews managed also managed to hose things up:
The removal of Carlson was part of a list of grievances that includes calling Arizona too quickly on Election Night 2020. There are plenty of alternatives to Fox — online. Fox believes everyone in the universe watches cable TV. We don’t.
The widow of Roger Ailes speaks to her imaginary (dead) husband:
“It took you 20 years to build Fox News into the powerhouse that it was and only 6 years for the Murdochs to wreak havoc. Rupert thought he could do your job. What a joke. He has the checkbook but could never come close to your genius. RIP.”
Oh, and can you say. “CNN?” I knew that you could!
AND, suddenly Black leaders in Chicago are protesting the Democrat illegal alien fiasco!
Understand well, Conservatives, you can fight and win. Democrats want you to be discouraged, to just sit around and impotently moan. Their message is, You can’t change anything, so don’t even try.
But don’t believe it for a second! Conservatism is a powerful force. Don’t give in to discouragement and withdrawal/surrender.

This was a week involving large events, and President Joe Biden seems to have lost control of both the situation and the messaging.
He put it as nicely as was humanly possible. He didn’t say, “You’re stupid,” he said, “Wisdom has been chasing you, but you have always been faster.”
The more conservative Jed Babbin was, of course, far more direct:
Biden continues to lie about the coming possible default on U.S. credit obligations. Even the Washington Post, which is regularly part of his cheering squad, gave Biden four “Pinocchios” — its worst rating — for his repeated insistence that the Republican plan, which would raise the debt limit in exchange for spending cuts, would cut veterans’ benefits.
.. In the middle of all this, Biden & Co. are going ahead with an onslaught of economy-killing regulations. For example, a new EPA proposed rule would require power plants to cut carbon emissions by 90% by 2035 to 2040. Other regulations are trying to limit the power consumption of everything from dishwashers to microwave ovens. If this nonsense goes through, electricity will cost a lot more, and household appliances will be less able to function because of the power cuts.

What a HUGE misstep this was! People need to be fired. And an abject apology from A-B. But it will never happen. If they admitted the depth of their mistake, cleaned house, and abjectly apologized they might be able to rebound. But again they won’t.
I’m not at all sure Bud Light will even survive. I mean, it probably will–A-B is huge and is counting on this whole thing blowing over after a few weeks or months. And it might.
BUT, there is starting to be a cultural shift among beer drinkers where people don’t want to be seen with a Bud Light. It has become a meme, a cultural signpost. And it is starting to infect other INBEV brands.
See, regular people are torqued about being hosed over again and again by soi-disant elites. They are incensed by the grotesque and in-your-face unequal justice re: Hillary Clinton, the Epstein clients, Hunter & Joe Biden, etc, etc, etc. ALL these people are both guilty as Hell and free as birds.
The fact that A-B would use a pathetic cross-dresser to advertise their beer just shows you how out of touch they are. It pulls the curtain back. Honestly, what would you have to believe in order to do THIS? It just seems like an assault on who you ARE.
And understand the broader context. YOUR hard-earned money keeps being sent to Ukraine–a famously corrupt state that Biden bragged about interfering with to protect himself and his son. Indeed, there is a strong suspicion that this is yet another Biden scam, at least in part.
I mean, the IRS is not a forgiving bunch, yet Hunter was allowed to get something like a million bucks behind in taxes? YOU try that and see if you’re not stylin’ the latest shade of orange!
People are just sick of the manifestly unequal justice. They feel helpless and victimized. And so when “Tranheuser-Busch” tried to ram tranny crap onto beer drinkers, there was suddenly a viable target for regular people. Thus, A-B got the brunt of people’s righteous anger–what A-B did was just another in a long line of affronts to normal people. And people could make them pay–the people were not powerless.
Democrats should take heed of this massive undercurrent of anger. People are looking to take the mickey out of them in 2024. Sure, Democrats will depend on voter fraud, but the backlash is real–ask Joe Manchin…
