Even Maher

Biden is hosed, and many Democrats are frantically heading for the exits!

During his opening monologue on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher reacted to President Joe Biden’s announcement earlier this week that he’ll build part of a border wall by stating that “even Biden now is admitting that the migrant crisis is real” and Biden has to pivot to the center. He also mocked Democrats who are criticizing Biden for the move by remarking that those Democrats are saying, “we know it’s in our platform, that it says secure the border, but we didn’t think you’d actually do something about it.”

Even in this Maher is WAY too kind. Team Biden never had the slightest intention of actually doing something. And they absolutely won’t. This is all just fool-the-rubes shyster-ism! Maybe the Biden cabal will eventually get shamed into something. But even that is probably a bridge too far for them.

Because THEN how would they explain themselves? “Yeah, when Trump moved to secure the border it was because he was RACIST. But OUR motives for doing the exact same things are pure as the driven snow!“

See, they are in a no-win situation on this: If they actually DO something they are admitting that Trump was fundamentally right and they were fundamentally wrong. And if they don’t move to secure the border they face a public backlash of epic proportions!

So, all they can do is split the difference: Pretend in public that they are securing the border and make a few lethargic, half-hearted moves in that direction, but actually do nothing…

The irony is

so rich, the hypocrisy so thick that one has to sit down for a moment to take it all in. It is just delicious!

On Sunday, Eric Adams called for closing our borders to illegal aliens.
Bwahaha.

But it’s not like it is comparatively more than a drop in the proverbial bucket. And yet Adams whines? You gotta be kidding me!

Eight busloads? That’s like 400 people a day. The Bezos Post said, “the total number of migrants encountered by CBP at the southern border in August — at legal crossings or elsewhere — to about 230,000, the highest one-month total this calendar year.”

SOOOO, I guess Trump was right, eh?

This reminds me of the scene in Blazing Saddles when Hedley Lamarr is signing up thugs and mugs, et cetera, to destroy Rock Ridge. He says to one thug, “Chewing gum on line, eh? I hope you brought enough for everybody.”

By now, pretty much everyone has heard the Democrats’ incessant claim that they are the (only!) party of true tolerance and inclusion. But have you noticed lately how their well-crafted facade is slipping faster than Joe Biden’s anemic poll numbers? While it’s not really new to any of us who follow politics, the Democrats showing their racism so blatantly is new.

Look, one thing you can bet on, one thing we have seen over and over and over is that when Democrats accuse Republicans of something, you can bet that they themselves are guilty of it.

This pattern has become so prominent as to almost be a law of nature.

If they had no double standards, they’d have no standards at all!

now that Democrats are on the business end of the whipping stick, they say that the public doesn’t want any more impeachments and that they are tired of partisan grandstanding.

I guess Democrats have “matured” since baselessly impeaching Trump over and over, eh? Not freakin’ likely! But now, having killed their parents, they are pleading for mercy on the grounds that they are just poor orphans. Huh.

The Democrats were “bad” Gollum when it came to Trump, but now they want to let bygones be bygones. You know, forgive and forget and all that.

Well, isn’t that conveeenient?

It sure is. And it just reeks of self-serving hypocrisy. This article argues for FAR more leniency than I would give, though purely on what the author thinks would be best for Republicans.

So my opinion is, sure, go ahead and continue investigating Joe Biden, and this time try to get it right by not focusing on the drug-addled, unemployable Hunter. But bear in mind that impeachment, once considered a nuclear option, no longer has much significance. Look how much harm it didn’t do, politically, to Donald Trump. In fact, the Democrats’ multiple ill-conceived impeachments probably helped Trump, as the Republicans’ impeachment of Bill Clinton, which was seen by the public as being about sex, helped Clinton.

I agree, though I very strongly doubt that Democrats are actually at all repentant. They would do it again in a nanosecond if they could. They are just now in Hell and don’t like it. Those are NOT the heartbreaking wails of the guilty-but-penitent. No, those are just the teeth-gnashing screams of the deservedly damned. BIG difference!

Here’s what I think: You do a real investigation. And if it truly leads to an impeachment, you go there. You lay the facts out for everyone to see. You are honestly not doing this for revenge, but merely following the facts. Impeachment arises out of the data, not out of spleen, like the Democrats did. But follow the data we must. Morality itself demands it.

Because we don’t want a Biden impeachment to be as stupid and meaningless as the Trump impeachments were. No, this is based on fact, not on spittle-lipped kookiness. This is justice, not mania!

I think Joe Biden

killed the “me, too” movement in Hollywood. Hear me out.

Tara Reid’s allegations were supremely credible, yet the”me, too” warriors were only too willing to “suspend disbelief” on Joe Biden in order to get Bad Orange Man out. So they folded like a cheap tent when their own was credibly accused. Tara Reid was the unfortunate victim of all this. Broken eggs, omelette, you know the rest.

But in abandoning Tara Reid they ended up destroying the whole movement. They were rightly seen as sell-outs and mere political hacks after that. So they advocated believing the victim–unless the perp was important to them.

And THAT hypocrisy totally gutted the whole movement. They were just no longer compelling. At all.

And THAT is a lesson to remember: A lot of Democrats look pure and moral, only to sell out to evil as soon as standing for what is right becomes difficult or means calling out their own “tribe.” They are an affronted lions when it comes to the other side, but a taciturn mouse when it comes to their side!

And that smug hypocrisy destroyed the movement. So they got a few scalps, but no real change. And the sad thing is that there were real victims, here! But the perps go free because the movement leaders were hypocritical toadies…
