As per the norm, the media are going all out in the final weeks before the election in a clear effort to rescue Joe and his fellow Democrats, even if they have to continue smearing Trump supporters in the process. Sadly for the MSM, all signs are not just pointing to a red wave of significant proportions, but trust in the media as an institution has crumbled, so their machinations – while predictable – are likely to have little to no impact, as the above MSNBC reporter found out the hard way.
Regular people are rightfully angry. And that anger should inform how they vote in November…
My prediction? People are already angry, and if Democrats cheat and steal yet again, there will be Hell to pay. That’s NOT a threat, it is a prediction. Let’s ALL hope it never gets to that point…

happening. It is indeed just starting to happen now. Because the writing is on the wall as to what will happen in the mid-terms, and some reporters and politicians want to beat the Christmas rush….
But you will see it in spades once Democrats get shellacked in the mid-terms! Just you wait.
It started as anonymous grumblings from Democratic Party operatives talking to the New York Times about the president’s job performance. But now, we’re seeing louder, on-the-record screams about Biden’s competency. These primarily concern the president’s age and polling, which suggests his diminishing reelection chances. Take Politico’s new reporting on the progressive groups now openly calling on Biden to abandon plans for a second term.
… All polling points to Biden’s majorities in the House and Senate being wiped out come the November midterm elections. When that happens, and I mean the very next day, these innuendos and grumblings for Biden to step aside will become full-bore primal screams, and he won’t be able to survive them.
I don’t think there is any doubt that Democrats will have an orgy of vituperative blamestorming after the mid-terms. And Biden himself may well be (and almost for sure WILL be) the primary target. Democrats hope to use him as a bona fide scapegoat: They will lay ALL the “sins” of the Democrats on him and then send him out into the wilderness to die. It’s pure misdirection. They will “cast him out” in atonement for their own sins!
If Democrats lose both the House and the Senate, you can bet your sweet Aunt Fanny that the Democrat long knives will come out for Old Joe Biden and his evil clown cabal.
Just be assured that you will hear the old saw, “It’s NOT an indication that Leftism is a steaming pile of crap, it is just that Joe Biden is an incompetent fool!“

See, this kind of bias is often relatively subtle. There was no “central authority” directing her–it is just the water she swims in.
And so it is with many Leftists. They are not low-IQ, they are just willfully and chronically misinformed. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, its not that they don’t know anything, it’s just that so much of what they know is actually not true!
This is the “paradigm blindness” described by Yoram Hazony. When I am ensconced in the Lefty fever swamp, ALL I see is Lefty drivel, and it is almost always unchallenged. And so it becomes transparent to me. And I am blind to other ways of looking at it.
We saw that when Mitt Romney said he was a “severe Conservative.” Huh? No Conservative talks like that! He was (and still is) blind to the Conservative paradigm. As one wag said, he does indeed speak Conservative, but with a heavy accent.
Conservatives tend not to have this problem. Why? Because Leftism is so culturally dominant. I can’t go to a movie, watch TV, listen to the radio, or even go to work without being confronted by Leftism. So to be a Conservative I have to have a little bit of punk rocker in me! I have to be willing to swim against the tide–sometimes at great risk to me, personally!

Yeah, this is not really about dereliction of duty by the MSM per se. The reason they are silent is that they are afraid to address the actual issues because it will look bad for them. They would have to address the very issues they are weakest in.
Here’s a theory: The more you focus on these races, the more you realize that the issues plaguing Democrats are due to their inability to speak on the issues voters really care about. CNN and MSNBC have focused so much on the social agenda, like abortion, and seem to have largely ignored or tried to gloss over the economic woes of the country.
So yes, the MSM remain as silent as the tomb about the actual campaign issues and events. Because if they bring them up, they are hosed.
