pretty dang good advice. My experience is that the supposedly conservative “Eeyores” are just a wet blanket on the fire of change for the better as well as on actively trying to make things better.
They say things like, “Uniparty” and say that every politician sucks and is dishonest–they are ALL the same, so just “lay back and think of England.” They preach passivity and misery and just giving up. Some are demoralized conservatives. Others are Democrats, simultaneously trying to make you inert and to justify their own behavior.
They want you to “take the black pill.” What does that mean?
“Taking the black pill” refers to adopting a nihilistic and fatalistic worldview…
They are, perhaps unwittingly, acting their part in the Democrat “Operation Demoralize.” They are happiness and effectiveness sinks. They have been “bitten” by the Operation Demoralize zombies, and now seek to suck dry and live off the happiness and energy of others.
Just smile and move on. Maybe note briefly to them that they are, deliberately or not, preaching despair and inertness. But YOU can’t save them–they will just drag you down, too..
