Since October, more than 200 law firms have signed onto a letter to top law schools warning students that their firms have “zero tolerance” for antisemitism, according to information provided to The Fix.
… Already, a New York University law student reportedly had a job offer revoked due to a comment blaming Israel for the Hamas terrorist attack, CBS News reported.
… Whether the doctors were fired because of antisemitic comments is not clear. But others have been, including a California doctor who lost his job in October for making “disturbing, anti-Semitic comments” on social media, his former employer Expert MRI wrote on Facebook.
.. A Miami dentist also lost his job after videos showed him removing posters of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas, and Citigroup bank and the Illinois State Comptroller’s Office fired employees in October after they posted antisemitic comments on social media, according to CBS News.
Look, if you really believe something, the loss of a job is a small price to pay, right? Stand up for your beliefs!

NYC just visited DC. His report: Help is not on the way.
“I did not leave with optimism,” Adams told reporters on Friday. “I left with the cold reality that help is not on the way in the immediate future. It is going to be, at this moment, it’s going to be up to New Yorkers and this administration to continue to navigate this challenge that we’re facing.”
Adams has projected that the migrant crisis will cost the city $12 billion by 2025 if the flow of new migrants remains the same. New York City has seen more than 150,000 migrants enter its homeless housing system since the spring of 2022, with 66,000 still in its care.
Gee, maybe Democrats need to fix the border situation. Ya think?

fissures in the Democrat party widen into a gaping chasm? It’s probably too much to hope for such poetic justice and it likely won’t happen.

This disturbing appeasement of Hamas shows how intersectional ideology allows for alliances that are more than a little contradictory. For example, take the gay and trans activists making excuses for Hamas. With its Islamist fundamentalist worldview, this terrorist organisation seems an odd match for supporters of postmodern gender politics.
A potential Democratic civil war is now in the offing. Biden’s attempts to placate his left by pushing for a slowdown in Israel’s response are unlikely to please either side.
Yes, this author gave into his compulsion to let his anti-Trump freak flag fly–it seems like a form of political Tourette’s Disorder. But he makes a good point in the Israel issues have a real danger of fracturing the Democrat party.
Yes, it probably won’t happen. But there is a non-zero chance that it will. And it’s not a Lloyd Christmas chance!

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators smashed a door at New York City’s Grand Central Station on Friday night and briefly forced the closure of the transportation hub as they marched through the streets of Manhattan for the second night in a row.
… The New York Post reported that the protesters also spattered the front of the New York Times building with red paint, burned an Israeli flag, and chanted for the destruction of Israel.

You can say one thing about the events of last month. At least some on the Left are finally waking up to the fact that they have not raised thoughtful and sensitive social justice warriors but hoards of violent, self-obsessed, post-pubescent gargoyles and harpies. Even HRH Hillary Rodham Clinton was on the receiving end of a bit of an eye-opener Wednesday during her speech at Columbia University. Clinton was there to deliver a lecture on the rather ambiguous topic of the role of women in the peace process.

Once upon a time, many, but not all, of the old Leftists, were angling for sound bites and social credit, and any negative impacts were considered negligible and would only affect people far, far away. They certainly never thought that their rhetoric would be turned on them. Now, they must come to terms with the fact that they took a generation of entitled, self-absorbed children baptized in social media and turned them into an army of monsters.
