It’s not so much that they are against whipping people, it is that they are against them being the one getting whipped!
And THAT is where RINOs have gone far astray (not the only area, BTW). They thought, in the immortal words of Shakespeare, that because they see themselves as virtuous, there will be no more cakes and ale!
