like yet another big ol’ nothingburger! Likely. But now, even if it goes forward it will be easily swatted away.
The left was practically salivating at the thought of Trump getting indicted and arrested, but just as quickly as the hype started, it seems to be fizzling out. It looks like their dreams of seeing him in handcuffs are slipping away faster than a greased pig at a rodeo. At this point, I dare say that it looks like it won’t happen at all.
… The first hint that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s indictment of Trump was going sour was when former Michael Cohen legal advisor Robert Costello appeared as a surprise witness on Monday. Trump touted Costello’s testimony as conclusive and irrefutable evidence of his innocence. And he may not have been exaggerating.
If it is true that Bragg’s case has blown up in his face, it probably constitutes an invincible shield for Trump going forward. Bragg may have just kicked Donald Trump up the stairs!
Like in the 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie:
Standish attempts to shoot Blackwood [the villain] but bursts into flames when he pulls the trigger of his gun, falling out a window to his death.
Yeah, Bragg may well have fired a gun at Trump only to himself go up in flames.

Look, a Grand Jury will indict freakin’ anybody! You know, ham sandwich and all. And yet it looks like the Grand Jury is balking at indicting Trump. THAT tells you how unbelievably weak the case is. An indictment should be a slam dunk!

As a sort of provider myself, I understand. I fortunately wasn’t faced with it, but would I be willing to face loss of income in order to stand for truth? I sure hope so. But it was an amazingly difficult test.
But many providers were weighed in the balances and found wanting. I understand. And there but for the grace of God go I. But let’s be honest–it was still a massive failure.
