Matt Margolis notes over at PL Media that no one is denying Hur’s claim that Biden couldn’t recall the date of his son Beau’s death (we already knew Biden can’t remember what country Beau died in) because they likely know Hur has a tape or transcript that would prove the claim, and likely the other specific claims Hur’s report, such as the date window of Biden’s vice presidency.
Biden to a debate. Don’t hold your breath! Biden would have an easier time fighting a ravenous leopard with his bare hands than debating RFK, Jr.
Biden simply is not capable of doing it. RFK, Jr. would utterly thrash him! And everyone knows it. And Joe knows it, which is why he won’t debate.
“We have a right as the American people to know that our president is actually leading the country and somebody else is not,” he continued, arguing “special interests in Washington, D.C.” want a president “with cognitive deficits.”
Often Lefties just won’t debate–they know very well that a halfway-informed person will put a serious intellectual whipping on them and their childish theories. But in addition, Biden is brain-addled. So he can’t debate.
And there is NO question that he will make a bunch of lame excuses as to why he won’t debate Trump. But the real reason is, of course, that he is just not cognitively intact and that would grievously expose him.

Look, we ALL know very well why Biden did not do an interview. It would be catastrophic if he crashed and burned. And there was always a much better than even chance that he would indeed crash and burn!
Oh, and one more thing:
Carville predicted that Biden will not debate his Republican opponent ahead of the November election while also saying how age does not get better with time.
“And he’s not going to do debates,” Carville said. “He is old; I know what it is because I’m almost as old as he is, and it’s never going to get better.”
Of course he’s not. Take that to the bank, Jack!

In short, the report makes it clear that Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials” and that such actions “present serious risks to national security.” But it also assessed Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and that it would be difficult to convince a jury he is guilty of a serious felony because to commit such a crime “requires a mental state of willfulness.” Further, the report recounts how he couldn’t remember when he was vice president and didn’t even remember when his son Beau died.
Yup. The report says Joe is so impaired the he is legally not competent to stand trial. He is not able to have the requisite mens rea to be legally convicted. In other words, he is guilty as Hell, but it is not fair to try such an incompetent, brain-addled person–he can’t understand the charges against him and/or is not capable of aiding in his own defense. Wow!

Actually, I think that this is about the worst possible outcome for Biden. If he had been indicted, he could have rallied his troops to defend him. But in this case it was recommended not to file charges–not because Biden is innocent (and Hur found that Biden is totally guilty) but because he is mentally incompetent to stand trial.
THAT is the worst of all possible outcomes. And even worse, I think this does indeed put us in 25th Amendment territory…

Biden hasn’t been having a great week. On Sunday, he told a touching story about a conversation he had in 2021 with a French president who died in 1996. The incident was so bad that when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about it, she didn’t even try to spin the story. She just refused to answer the question.
And then he can’t remember the name. “Hamas:””
He continued, “There is some movement, and I don’t want uuhhh — I don’t want uhhh — well, let me be — change my words. There is some movement… there’s been a response from… the uhhhh…. the — the — there’s been a response… from… the opposition, but ummm…”
Indeed, it looks worse when you watch it!
to do a Super-Bowl interview. And we ALL know why. The Biden suck-ups need to “hide the decline.” And Biden being in public view makes that hiding impossible.

I’ve been watching presidential campaigns for 52 years and I’ve never seen a campaign so tightly controlled and media-managed. What makes it even worse is the media’s cooperation and acceptance of being pushed around like little children and manipulated by Biden’s PR handlers. Even Barack Obama couldn’t exert the kind of control Biden is wielding over the networks.
Biden has to follow his script.
You can see the question that’s going to be asked written out, in the case of the Wausau, Wisconsin mayor asking about lead pipes, then the answer written out with what Biden has allegedly done in regard to the issue. In this case, I wonder if the question was “asked” to give Biden a little assist, since he loves to talk about what he’s doing about lead pipes. !
