Now I think Hybrids make some sense. But still, there is the problem that an enormously expensive (and slave-produced) battery WILL have to be replaced long before the car is worn out. So if you get any sort of EV (even a hybrid), just realize that you’re soon going to have to buy a $25,000 new battery for it! No wonder the used EV market is total crap!
Can you lease a new EV? Because that may well be the way to go if you must have one. Oh, and live in a year-round warm place, too…

Las Vegas resident and registered Republican Daphne Lee said she and her family checked the secretary of state’s website on Sunday to see their voter history after she heard from a few people that their voting history was incorrect. The site showed that she and her family’s mail-in ballots were counted for the primary, even though none of them participated in the election. She tried to opt out of future mail-in ballots and was met with a message saying she was not currently registered to vote, and her voting history no longer existed.
Oh. A “glitch.” How conveeeenient!
Yeah, something doesn’t quite smell right here. I’m not an expert, but if this was just related to a code issue, how is it possible for people who didn’t vote by mail and never even requested a ballot to show up as having been counted?

Without warning last week, a KFC franchisee “abruptly” shuttered three South Side locations. One outlet, located in Chatham, had been “undergoing renovations for months” when the franchise owner apparently just gave up and boarded up the windows instead. According to the same Fox 32 Chicago report, the Great KFC Vanishing came “less than one month after Cinema Chatham, a local movie theater, shut down.” That closure also came without warning.

A commenter on the Fox 32 story wrote, “What’s killing business on the south side of Chicago is no one feels safe anymore. I frequented both the 35th and 75th Street locations, and the food was great. But I’d never go after dark. There’s a whole different feel to those streets when the sun goes down.”
… It isn’t racism taking convenience, options, and jobs away from the parts of Chicago where they need them the most. It’s the voters, overwhelmingly in the places losing convenience, options, and jobs.
A word of advice to these people: VOTE DIFFERENTLY!

As is obvious in our history, Democrat rule = crappy economic conditions. OTOH, when a conservative is in charge, the economy gets better.
It might be the easiest answer on Jeopardy: Where is most economic growth in the United States happening?
If you took “Red States” you win a cookie. The United States is experiencing rapid growth and job creation, with most of the growth occurring in red states.

It is an iron-clad rule. Look at Milei in Argentina, for Pete’s sake! And even here, with all the “Biden” interference, conservative states have MUCH better economies than lefty ones. Count on it! as night follows day…
Any horse’s patootie can grow the economy by waving a magic wand and creating trillions of dollars in economic growth thanks to government spending. The real trick is growing the economy by creating wealth thanks to private investment powered by tax cuts and other monetary vehicles. That’s noninflationary growth, not the artificial imitation growth that Joe Biden created.
So when you vote in November, just know what you’re voting for. And the rule of thumb is this: The further Left a candidate is, the worse the economy will be.

Honestly, they don’t mention that the policies are Republican, and the Blue states are stagnating because they don’t have business-friendly policies.
… The MSM and academia–this story features the best of both–have become parodies of themselves. To write a story explaining that Red states are where economic growth is happening without once mentioning that Red states are run by Republicans who made policies that matter. This is a remarkable achievement.
