The Left depends

on and is fueled by the spirit of Cain (let me credit Jordan Peterson, in part, for that idea).

Let me explain: That is the spirit of greed and of damnable pride (which was the sin of Cain). In Leftism there is that very same insufferable pride combined with the constant grasping for the goods of others–to be taken at the barrel of a gun, if need be. Violence, and the threat thereof is, and always has been, part and parcel with the whole Lefty gig.

Remember, Cain killed Able out of greed, jealousy, and narcissistic injury. And THAT is the very same spirit that animates BLM, that animated the Weather Underground, and that today animates Left as a whole.

THAT is what animated the Joe Biden cheating! It is force and coercion incarnate. And it’s not at all pretty. Not one bit. It feeds, nay, sates itself on human misery. It is, at heart, the all-too-real human vampire that lives off the life-blood of others, and turns people of good will into a wretch like itself.

“Dracula” was fiction. But it became HUGELY popular because it is a recognizable archetype. And it is an archetype that has resonated throughout time because it IS Leftism! It by no means started with Bram Stoker.

I think there

has indeed been a collapse of trust.

The issue at play now is that the majority of Americans have lost trust in our ability to govern and also, whether our leaders are even telling us the truth or are we simply being manipulated?

… We have arrived at a point that appears intentional. The utter disregard for breaking the sacred bond between ordinary Americans and their leadership, fealty to the principles and practices of a nation that has stood for good, stood for a better tomorrow, and been that beacon of hope to the entire world is now in doubt.

The problem is that Democrats and RINOs have been chronically dishonest. So no one trusts them.

One Lefty friend of mine (well, former friend) embodies such dishonesty. Rather than just saying what he truly believes, he hides his core beliefs because they would be so distasteful to those around him.

But the price for that is that he can never really be himself–he never knows if his friends really like him because there is always this dread that if they knew what he truly believed, they would never accept him or trust him.

What a sad existence!

The poll, conducted after the leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion showing a majority of justices favoring rolling back Roe v. Wade, suggests that the overwrought responses from Democrats may not move the needle on Election Day as they’d hoped it would.

No wonder it is standing room only at the Democrat Prilosec-and-Xanax bar!

I personally don’t want to see a dissolution. Federalism is indeed the answer, here.

I think they are so caught up in this narcissistic mobius loop that they are always angry when someone disagrees with them. It very quickly becomes an existential threat to their overweening sense of superiority.

Well, it’s

only ONE of the problems. But it’s a biggie.

AND, in terms of Roe and the mid-terms:

I went from thinking it would be a boon for the Democrats’ midterms prospects to convincing myself that they’d cry this tantrum out long before then.

I think that is true. The level of Lefty freakout just can’t be maintained. ALL bleeding stops, eventually.

Already, we are seeing a waning of Lefty intensity on this. And I predicted the meltdown to last a week. I may have over-estimated…

But abortion is NOT the issue:

We’re back to looking at the real problems that the Democrats have facing them. Joe Biden is an albatross that none of them will be able to shake, of course. The economic woes he’s visited upon the country won’t be better in a matter of months. They’re busy convincing themselves that none of what’s wrong is their fault anyway.

But lest we get sidetracked, here, there is this much bigger issue going on: Democrats have abandoned rural voters.

The authors of the piece minced no words, saying that the Democrats’ message to rural voters over the past decade or so has been clear: “You don’t matter.”

… The good news for Republicans is that Democrats lack the capacity for self-awareness, so they won’t be figuring any of this out anytime soon.
