How is anyone still fooled? Honestly, I don’t get it. I don’t think it is garden-variety stupidity or ignorance. But that only leaves actual malice as an explanation!
The most “polite” explanation is ignorance. And you know, maybe that is part of it. But if so, it is a species of deliberate ignorance. It is a sort of “plausible deniability.” And that leads us back to malice.

Whatever else may be said about the bill, the idea that it will help address the current inflation problem is absurd.
