This is why. They simply can’t successfully negotiate their way in the “marketplace of ideas.”
Most really an’t intellectually defend their positions or critiques of those positions, so they just put their tails between their legs and run away, all the time blaming YOU for their cowardice–they sat that if you had kissed their butt in just the right way they would have engaged and argued their position.
