great that the House moved to slash funding for the 87,000 new IRS agents to harass regular people. Wonderful, but it was initially authorized, and my understanding is that the initial authorization funded it for a time.
So people would be paid to do this (because Biden will most certainly sign it), but everyone knows now that it is a “temp job.” There is ONLY funding for the very beginning. Maybe that is enough to stop it.

While the bill to slash funding for the IRS is not likely to go any further, it is another demonstration that the America First crowd in Congress is still fighting to implement its agenda. Much as they did during the Speaker battle.
