Democrats actually DO, in practice, hate free speech. Sure, they may deny it and primp and pose as freedom advocates, but pretty much anything they don’t like they consider “hate speech” and they try to ban it. College/University “speech codes” usually play that role…
No, free speech is NOT a Democrat value. If you only want free speech for positions with which you agree, you don’t really want free speech at all!
